very nice playlist. I like the harmony between "organic" sounds (like strings) and electronic clicks and clacks. *g*

"NIght waves" was the reason why I bought the album. Indeed it's a beautiful tune!

Hey Carl, I was posting that exact song from clogs soon. The playlist is really good, thank you very much, you won me completely by the time tstewart started playing. Really solid.

I have one doubt with the songs names, you're not using the "-" to separate artists from songs and I wanted to ask you about kim hiorthy, is kim the artist and hiorthy the track name? I've downloaded the track already and it appears to me as artist: kim Hiorthy song: 08+kim+hiorthy, could you please tell me if I'm right? pardon my obsession with naming tracks.

    thx everyone :>)

the kim hiorthy track is an untitled tune from a comp i'd come across a few years back ... and as far as i recall, it didnt have a name, but i will look into it again ... and btw, you are pardoned :>)

as an aside, i am concidering doing an all mice parade post, i love that stuff, from the pop structuring to his beautiful drone work / his style was once decribed as non electronic eletronic music due to his unobtrusive processing of acoustic guitar, a description i completely agree with/

also, the vocal bits in "faster" by dub tractor had my jaw on the floor ... my bloody valentine lives on !

big supporter of KRISITIN ANNA VALTYSDOTTIR and MUM, so when i heard she did another collaborative album with MICE PARADE, i was way stoked! "nights wave" was the 1st track that i got into from that album. nice to know that you blokes luv em too.

also, i absolutely adored GUITAR's last album "sunkissed". its' like MBV reincarnated. ordered it all the way from Germany. i doubt his new album "tokyo" will even be released here, so i might have to go order that one too. cheerios to all!

it's Kim Hiorthøy. and surprisingly pronounced "yacht-hoy" from what i was told.

he has some really great stuff out on Smalltown Supersound and does all of the artwork (which is absolutely mesmerizing) for the label Rune Grammofon.

    Check it out pronto!
