this track listing represents a huge block of memories from a time
period spanning my highschool and early college years/ this was by and large the soundtrack to my life prior to my full blown submission to techno and electronic music in general around the early mid 90's/ and as the name suggests, more mix tapes will follow/ enjoy!

I've been following your blog for a while now, and all I can say is ¿Me se casa?

I'm English, and your music taste is just 'perfect' - which means it gives me goose bumps every time I check your site.

    Te quiero

    Mantenga en, siempre

    grrrr, so far away.

Mate, there are some wonderful songs in there, much the same taste as myself in the early 90's at high school in England. Strangely I too have followed the same path towards techno and electronica- doesn't seem like the most logical progression!! Anyway, great listening to songs from back then like Teenage Fanclub and Sonic Youth- the first live bands I saw. Cheers!

thanks for sharing this great mix tape! just seeing the names of even the bands i was not big into -- like chapterhouse, charlatans -- brings me back to my college days . . . and "god knows its true" -- well, HOW could TFC leave that off their recent best of CD?

some blogger recently wrote: there are two kinds of people in the world--those who make mix tapes, and those who have mix tapes made for them.

actually, its the right way to progress. 90s brit rock to wierd electronic soundscapes. at least that's how i experienced things as well back in those days.
