Thanks! Kippie is one of the true legends of South African music. His brother was one of the people who taught Abdullah Ibrahim (Dollar Brand) piano.

I really liked kippie and boyoyo, is all of this recent stuff? some of them sound like it was recorded 20 years ago (sipho mabuse). Is the city your living in? I must say it's very beautiful.

Thanks for the positive comments! The pictures are indeed of my town, Johannesburg. One of the most dangerous cities in the world, and yet so pretty. The northern suburbs, where I live, allegedly contain the largest planted forest in the world. I don't know how true that is, but if you look at JHB on Google it's pretty impressive seeing all the trees like that, from the top. The songs range from the late thirties up till about two years ago, and they're in order of release. Thanks again fo those positive comments, see you all at the World Cup in 2010!
