That "L" word

In the kitchen, in the shower and in the back seat of my car.
I'll hold you up and drive you 'till you feel the daylight.
Melissa Ferrick - drive
The Raincoats - lola
Mr. Airplane Man - commit a crime
Yeah yeah yeahs - phenomena
The Gossip - on the prowl
Joy Zipper - go tell the world
Image: Grafuck.
Dedicated to our fans over at xxxchurch, 'cause I know how they like it. Also would like to send a kiss to my sexy cat, who's been rather distant lately.

Heh, I wouldn't know, I'm not a lesbian--
No, honestly, a have many lesbian friends, I myself feel lesbian most of the time and the answer to your question would be:
yes, "drive" is some sort of lesbian theme, I haven't checked the soundtracks for "the l word" (a show they all love) but if they don't have that song in there yet, they're definitely missing it.

Y'know, I really dig the two films I've seen by Lisa Cholodenko (High Art, Laurel Canyon), and she directed an episode of the L Word, so I thought it might be cool, but what I've seen of it, it just seems so fake. I really dig the film But I'm A Cheerleader too (cool soundtrack), but Jamie Babbit also did episodes of The Gilmore Girls...
*sigh of relief*
